To lay down or to lie down

now that spring is getting closer (i think, i hope), i'm itching to make some changes around my abode. 
i love layering flat weaves, dhurries and kilims. 

this diamond from Dash&Albert (gets bonus points for being easy to clean, it's an indoor/outdoor) looks awesome on its own:
