dinner plate diatribe

i've been looking high and low for a new set of dishes.

i like my old ones (kinda, sorta and they are Missoni and we all know how i feel about Missoni anything) but we no longer have a full set after my toddler tested out her "houdini" moves and pulled the place mat out from under one.  pretty sure she won't be a magician, or try that again.  plus they never really got used everyday because they were an odd shape and seemed much larger than a regular size dinner plate.  and now i know i like regular sized plates that are round.  call me crazy.

knowing full well that i am a pattern/color junkie, i've set out on a mission to find a white dinner plate i can live with.

"golden pearls" by Dibbern
here is my top choice (so far):
the little gold dots are so playful and unexpected.  (bonus points for being made in Germany and not in China.  i won't be worried they have lead paint or worse).

**be sure to check for a post in a few months about how i was crazy to buy white plates and am pining for color and pattern.

  1. Just keep the Missoni ones so you can switch back and forth between white & patterned. :)
